ITINERARY
DAY 1: DRIVE FROM KIGALI TO AKAGERA
A representative of Native Expeditions Africa safaris will pick you up for an approximately 2-hour journey (depending on the stopovers along the way—the scenery along the way is irresistible, you will want to stop and take as many phots as possible) to Akagera National Park
Lunch will be served at your accommodation of choice and later that afternoon, we will head out for a boat trip on Lake Ihema where Hippos and crocodiles in the water or by the shores as well as buffaloes and elephants wallowing by the water banks will all be waiting for you.
Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: GAME DRIVE DAY
Game Drives in Akagera National Park are the main safari activity that travelers engage in when they visit the park to explore the wildlife. There are different game drives that can be carried out in the park which include the morning game drive, evening game drive and the nocturnal game drives that will ensure you have an amazing experience while you see a number of game animals.

DAY 3: TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI
On the final day, you will leave the lodge with after breakfast, head for a brief game drive before we drive back to Kigali and later be dropped at the hotel or airport to catch your flight.
