3 Days Kabalega Falls Experience
Murchison falls national park in Uganda is known for its spectacular views of the falls. On this 3-day Murchison falls safari, you will enjoy 2 game drives through the savannah grassland of the Murchison falls park and a boat cruise on the Nile at the bottom of the falls. Be ready to enjoy Uganda wildlife and the beautiful scenery in one trip.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK, ZIWA RHINO TREK EXPERIENCE AND EVENING GAME DRIVE
After breakfast, our driver/ guide will pick you up at your hotel/home in Kampala to kick off your 3 day on Murchison falls park tour.
Our first stop will be at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary—Africa’s Rhino Paradise. This is the only place where you will be able to see rhinos in the wild. Presently the sanctuary is home to thirty-two (32) southern white rhinos and has become increasingly popular with tourists; for Rhino Trekking, Shoebill Trek and Canoe Ride, Bird Watching, Night Walk, Nature Walk, and Relaxation.
After this Rhino experience, we will head out to Masindi for lunch and then proceed to Murchison falls national park. On arrival at the park, we will enjoy a short drive for you to take in the beautiful scenery, and evening sightings, and later check-in at your accommodation of choice for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: MAIN GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE ON THE NILE
On the second day of this tour, we will enjoy an early breakfast after which your driver/guide will pick you up from the lodge to start your Game drive at 7:00 am. During the drive during which you will experience more wildlife sightings than you did the day before. This drive will go on for about 4 hours and thereafter, we will drive back to the lodge, relax/freshen up and have lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise.
The Murchison Falls boat cruise presents you with the opportunity to drift gently down the Nile, discover wildlife on the riverbanks or, work your way upstream to see the powerful Murchison Falls up close. From your vantage point at the base of the falls, you’ll witness the power of Murchison as water surges through a narrow 7-meter gorge. On clear days, the spray of the falls interacts with sunlight to produce a rainbow that envelopes the falls, adding to the beauty and making for perfect photo opportunities.
You could opt to go hiking to the top where you will meet your driver guide who will drive you back to the lodge. Have dinner and an Overnight.
DAY 3: DEPARTURE BACK TO KAMPALA
On the final day of this tour, we will enjoy a leisurely breakfast and start our journey back to Kampala to your hotel/Airport.
