Itinerary



Day 1: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls

Your Native Expeditions guide will collect you early from Kampala or Entebbe for the journey north. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino-tracking experience. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and check in at your lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive, Sport Fishing and Boat Safari

Begin the day with a short game drive across the park’s savannah.

Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeest, Uganda kobs, warthogs and other wildlife.

Continue to a designated fishing area below Murchison Falls for an introductory sport-fishing session with an experienced guide.

In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Nile towards the base of the falls. Hippos, crocodiles, elephants and numerous waterbirds may be seen along the riverbanks.

Day 3: Full-Day Nile Sport Fishing

Spend the day fishing along approved sections of the River Nile.

The main target species are Nile perch and catfish. Your guide will select suitable fishing areas based on water conditions, weather and park regulations.

Fishing follows catch-and-release practices unless current regulations state otherwise. Return to your lodge after the experience, with an optional evening game drive if time allows.

Day 4: Return to Kampala or Entebbe

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and beginning the return journey.

Your guide will drop you at Kampala, Entebbe International Airport or another agreed location.
