Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your Native Expeditions guide will collect you early from Kampala or Entebbe for the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Stop at the Equator for photographs and optional souvenir shopping before continuing to Mbarara for lunch. Travel through western Uganda’s scenic countryside and arrive at the park in the evening.
Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 2: Kasenyi Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Begin the day with a game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, one of the park’s leading wildlife-viewing areas.
Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, hyenas and other wildlife. The open plains also support a wide variety of birds.
After lunch, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and numerous waterbirds along the shoreline.
Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 3: Community Experience and Return to Kampala
After breakfast, visit a community near Queen Elizabeth National Park to learn about local livelihoods, culture and life alongside a protected wildlife area.
Alternatively, a guided nature or primate walk may be arranged depending on your interests, available time and activity schedules.
Begin the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, stopping for lunch and optional souvenir shopping along the way.
