Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Serengeti National Park
A Native Expeditions representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport or your hotel in Arusha.
After a safari briefing, travel to Serengeti National Park. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and other wildlife.
Overnight: Serengeti National Park
Days 2–3: Serengeti Wildlife Safari
Spend two full days exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains on morning and afternoon game drives.
The park supports large populations of lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and leopards. Depending on the season and location of the herds, you may also witness part of the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Overnight: Serengeti National Park
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a wildlife-viewing experience.
The crater’s grasslands, forests and wetlands support lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with some luck, black rhinos. You will also visit the area around Lake Magadi, known for its scenery and birdlife.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Day 5: Transfer to Arusha
Enjoy breakfast before travelling to Arusha. Check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the city at your own pace.

Day 6: Fly from Tanzania to Uganda
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Entebbe, Uganda.
A Native Expeditions representative will meet you at Entebbe International Airport and transfer you to your hotel.
Overnight: Entebbe
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, travel southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Stop at the Equator for photographs before continuing through Mbarara and Uganda’s scenic countryside to Bwindi.
Overnight: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Report to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the rainforest with Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.
Trek through Bwindi in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, spend the permitted time observing and photographing them.
An optional Batwa cultural experience can be arranged after the trek, depending on time and energy levels.
Overnight: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Day 9: Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kazinga Channel
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving around lunchtime.
In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and numerous waterbirds along the shoreline.
Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 10: Game Drive and Transfer to Kampala
Begin the final day with a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Search for elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, baboons, lions and other wildlife before travelling to Kampala or Entebbe, where the safari ends.
