Day 1 Arrival in Tanzania and transfer to hotel
A Native expeditions representative will pick you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel of choice in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 Ngorongoro crater
On the second day of this safari, we will be visiting the Ngorongoro crater after breakfast. This is the world’s largest inactive caldera. The crater floor covers about 260 square kilometers and the crater is about 600 meters deep. Due to the collapse of an active volcano over 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro crater was formed.
Interestingly, approximately 40,000 people live in the conservation area. They share the land with an incredible amount of wildlife. There are around 30,000 animals ranging from leopard, cheetah, elephant and hyena to warthog, buffalo and impala. It’s also one of the best places to see the endangered black rhino and black-maned male lions.
You will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater where you will also see attractions like Lake Magadi where you will see flamingos along the shores of the lake as well as hippos.
Dinner and overnight stay at accommodation of your choice.
Day 3: Afternoon game drive in Serengeti national park
On day 3 after breakfast, all eyes will be on Serengeti National Park where we can expect to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive as you search for wildlife species in the savannah plains such as the big five like elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and also enjoy the beautiful scenery such as the kopjes where lions can be seen as they watch their prey.
You will then proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Full day Serengeti national park experience
Serengeti National Park was one of the first sites listed as a World Heritage Site when United Nations delegates met in Stockholm in 1981. It is also the only place where you can witness millions of migrating wildebeest over the Acacia plains. After breakfast on the fourth day of this safari, you will be treated to a morning game drive that will take you through till lunch hour and you will be back on the wildlife chase immediately after your lunch.
The Serengeti is home to one of the largest concentrations of predators in the world: the herds support about 7,500 hyenas, 3,000 lions and 250 cheetahs and you cannot miss the Elephants in the Serengeti amble over the plains into the woodlands, feasting on leaves and tree branches.
After this wild experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: destination—Uganda!
You will have an early breakfast on day 5 before taking a drive to Kilimanjaro international airport for your flight to Uganda. On arrival at Entebbe international airport, our guide will meet you and drive you to your hotel where you will check in for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi will be on a chartered flight after breakfast on day 6. On arrival, you will head straight to your lodge or hotel of choice for check-in, relaxation and lunch.

Day 7: your day out with the mountain gorillas of Uganda
After breakfast on day 7, you will head to the park headquarters for a short briefing before trekking into the Bwindi impenetrable forest in search of the gorillas. Note that Bwindi Impenetrable national park is home to both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees and also hosts five other species of primates, 113 species of mammals, over 200 species of butterflies and 360 species of birds. Therefore, while the focus on this day will be gorillas, there’s more on the menu for you to enjoy.
